Worry doll workshop at University of Dayton Artstreet!

11/20: Guatemalan Worry Dolls with Leesa Haapapuro
These small dolls, used to soothe fears or worries, are thought to date back to Mayan times. Artist Leesa Haapapuro, whose installation based sculptural works have been exhibited at ArtStreet in the past, believes that the process of making them can be cathartic. She will discuss her project Muñeca Quitapenas (No Worries) and show you how to make your own worry doll. For  more information:
